Globe trotting

If anything is true of Geert, it is that he liked to move around. Maaike went along for the ride. During the period that Geert was Professor of Organisational Anthropology at the University of Maastricht, Geert and Maaike globe-trotted around the world visiting Turkey, Georgia, the USA, taking the Trans-Siberia Express from Russia to China by way of Mongolia, staying in Hong Kong for a visiting professorship, traveling in Indonesia and Taiwan.

Then they were off to Hawaii for 5 months, New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa, Cook Islands, Marquesas and Canada.
